Lessons are held in a virtual online class according to a pre-set schedule.

ABOUT THE COURSE METHOD

The Online Learning or Synchronic Method is a way of learning having the advantage of making the study process easier and more enjoyable than conventional methods.

Convenient - You can learn from home at a convenient time, while using your capabilities to the fullest extent.

Qualitative - You enjoy the benefits of a top-rate teacher, despite the geographical distance, and state-of-the-art learning control capabilities.

Efficient - Exercise learning material at your own pace while enjoying continuous illustration of the learning process.

Participants in the virtual lessons use a "live classroom" application similar to video-conferencing but with functionality and technology appropriate for educational purposes. Virtual sessions offer a way to engage students in an interactive, online learning experience, as well as one-on-one tutoring and other activities.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Online virtual meetings use common browser plug-ins and connect through a hosting service, either local or remote. The application is platform-independent, allowing users on PC's, Macs and Linux machines to share identical functionality. At appointed times, participants log on to a Web site to join class sessions in scheduled events.

The application window includes a pane that lists current participants, a chat pane for written interaction, an audio/video pane and a content window. The teacher can be seen and heard in real-time by session participants, who can communicate with one another and with the instructor through the chat pane and the audio. The instructor can respond to questions from participants, demonstrate, share access in the content pane and manage the layout of the environment. Sessions can be recorded and archived for later access.
